Medieval bas-reliefs

Point of Historical Interest

In Menaggio we find medieval bas-reliefs of the XI century.

Winged feline and two busts of the Romanesque period; it is conceivable that they were originally placed at the entrance of the castle or on the facade of the demolished church of S. Giacomo that stood nearby, with an adjoining monastery.
